DAS (slightly dunkel) BLUE SNEAKER is from the same leather as DAS BLUE SHOE, but about one shade darker.

This formerly "coming soon" sneaker is now here. We've made 30 pairs, so it's kind of a limited edition, but we hope to make more.

It's a gorgeously soft, smooth, napa sneaker, handmade in Portugal from German and Dutch leather.

The colour is a matte, desaturated dark blue with a calm, refined tone - think deep ocean but far from navy.

The leather comes from the Heinen tannery, in Wegberg, and is as supple and soft as our Dutch calfskin lining, but nonetheless durable and waterproof.

The sneaker is handcrafted with care by Rui and his family of Portuguese shoemakers, on a bucolic hillside in Northern Portugal, where only their talent for cultivating Vino Verde rivals their exceptional shoemaking.

The sole is rubber and EVA, embossed with our ICH BIN ATHEIST design.

As always, we'll send a few different colours of shoelace with DAS BLUE, any of which can change the look completely and help the shoes feel at home in your wardrobe.

green measuring tape - Atheist Shoes

Begin by finding out the length of your foot in cm (see the graphic below on how to do that), then calculate your European size, according to this formula:

SIZE = 1.5 X (FOOT LENGTH IN CM + 1.5)

That means, if your foot length is 28.5cm, you should add 1.5, to give you 30. Then multiply 30 by 1.5, to give you a European Shoe Size of 45 (assuming you don't have a very wide foot, in which case you might want to consider going up one size to 46).
