This, our least definitively named boot of all time, is a chameleon-like, smorgasbord of green, in a "my MG just broken down by a Salbei patch in the middle of a verdant German forest" kinda way. It's none of those hues alone, but they make sense together and different ones come to the fore depending on when and where you look at it.
It's a beautifully textured nubuck from Germany, with a fabulous nap (a slight raised hairiness, almost like a Sage leaf). Otherwise, it's our classic DAS BOOT, in the usual style, lined with supple calfskin, and with a thin rubber and EVA sole, whose 7mm heel-to-toe drop means it's nearly a barefoot shoe but better.
We've made just 40 pairs for starters. But we'll be happy to make more, if the world is open to this most unpindownable of greens.
