B-Ware / Factory Seconds

Soft, Italian, calfskin shoes with two small blemishes: 

1) The sole is a few mm narrower than it should be, meaning the upper leather is a little more exposed than it was designed to be, along the sides of the widest part of the shoe. For most people with most walking styles, this may have no impact, but there is a chance that wear and tear will show a little earlier. 

2) The leather didn't live up to our expectations - being calfskin, we knew it would be soft, and it is, but being Italian we expected it to feel more luscious to the touch, when it does feel a tad more dry than most of our leathers. We also suspect it may not wear as well as our usual leathers and that superficial damage may eventually show itself in certain spots. 

We're offering a meaty discount to anyone willing to share the risk that these shoes may not last as long as we'd usually hope (aka this is factory seconds, or B-ware; so no returns if the lifespan of these shoes does end up being shorter). 

Blemish aside, this is a supremely comfortable piece of footwear and our "princess-and-the-pea" nature is your opportunity to have kick-ass shoes for a fraction of the usual price.
