Hang with us at our shop, via Zoom!

This Saturday (18th of April) we're gonna host a Zoom meeting, live from our shop in Berlin. And you're invited! 

You can browse shoes, ask us anything, or just hang out. 

We'll start at 4.30pm (German time) and go until 7.30pm, so the good people of West Coast USA can join. And, if it works, we'll keep doing it, every Saturday, same time.

Dear Customers,

We do hope you're remaining safe, sane and hopeful in these challenging times. It's pretty clear everyone's life is getting upended by Corona and we hope you're coping with the changes. 

For us, the imminence of massive change first became clear 2 weeks ago, on a Saturday afternoon, when our Berlin shop was eerily quiet. Every day since was the same and, on Tuesday, we took the same step as other "non essential" businesses in Berlin, by closing our doors for who-knows-how-long.   

We've never felt quite as "non-essential" a business as we do right now. And our hearts go out to those businesses that do remain vital to keeping society functioning, and are striving to overcome new complexities to do so. We think in particular of our friends who run a bakery, a grocery store and a restaurant and we're throwing what support we can behind them. 

We're also mindful that our customers, many of whom have become friends down the years, will be going through their own difficulties. But if you'll forgive us a gross generalisation about the people who tend to buy our shoes, you are some of the brightest, most optimistic and cheerful people we've ever encountered - you've kept our spirits up when business was tough, and we have no doubt you have "the right stuff" to make it through the present situation. 

We'd wager new shoes are very low on your current to do list. But, when the time comes, rest assured that our web shop is still very much open for business, as is the DHL shipping service we use to deliver your shoes. It turns out shippers are considered "essential" workers (we salute you, DHL)!

We do expect that any online orders we get over the coming weeks will be crucial to tiding our business over until better days. So, if you do find yourself feeling financially secure enough to fall into a daytime reverie about high quality handmade construction, lusciously soft calfskin lining, and achingly simple minimalist good looks (which we assure you will be very "in" on post-apocalyptic Earth), please do think of us. And know that we are always grateful for your custom.

In the mean time, stay safe, be kind to yourselves and others, enjoy whatever show you're binging & Happy Spring!

7 years ago, we opened for business. And, somehow, we're still here! It's been a blast, through countless bumps, highs and surprises - new friends, unexpected journeys and thousands upon thousands of ridiculously comfortable shoes. It's fair to say we're feeling emotional... maybe even a tad proud.
