After 15 years of shoelaces, we’re ready to make out first zero shoelace boot (sorry it took us so long). 

It's a Goodyear-welted Chelsea, with Vibram Vi-lite soles, handcrafted from calfskin lining and Horween Predator upper leather (in 2 shades; "orange" (actually more of a cognac) and "whiskey" (arguably closer to dark rum). 

It has elasticated side panels and a heel loop, rather than laces.

And it comes with a couple of different footbeds, so you can modulate the fit: one made of latex for extra super-duper cushioning, and one flatter and thinner. Going footbedless is also an option.

It has our signature fury of decorative stitches down the heel, and we're still deciding on the final design and materials for the heel loop (it's a fierce battle between cotton, leather and polyester and there's no telling who's gonna win).

They have the same lofty elegance of our Serious Boots, with that Goodyear welt making them more solid than most Chelseas. But they’re nonetheless comfy. 

And they're hardy - the first samples have coped well with submergence in the North Sea, the Berlin winter, and the first hot days of summer. 

The leather, from the famous Horween tannery in Chicago, develops a beautiful patina over time and was definitely worth the hours of customs paperwork to get it into the EU. 

We're only making them to order because they reassuringly cost a lot to produce and we have no idea what demand will be like. But we're excited to find out. It all feels a bit reminiscent of our early Kickstarter days, when so many of you helped bring our little business into existence.
