TAUPE

We're excited to introduce our new DAS TAUPE SNEAKER.

Taupe is a beautiful, neutral colour - the perfect basis for other colours or a natural colour palette. It's versatile as hell and will match any outfit. It's maybe even more versatile than grey, which is a serious level of versatility.

DAS TAUPE is relatively easy to maintain (dirt is basically invisible). And it's beautifully soft, made from Bio Nubuck; perfect for summer outfits and vacationing (if you get to be so lucky).

The sneakers are handmade by a family of artisanal shoemakers in a small atelier in Northern Portugal and they're finished with our usual sneaker sole, with moulding of our classic ICH BIN ATHEIST motif.

DAS TAUPE is a limited edition, for now, so please don't hesitate if you'd like to make a pair your own.

PS - if you struggle with how to pronounce TAUPE, you're not alone. Our team can't even agree but we like the idea that it rhymes with HOPE or SOAP or "FLIP YEAH THESE SHOES ARE AWESOME"!

green measuring tape - Atheist Shoes

Begin by finding out the length of your foot in cm (see the graphic below on how to do that), then calculate your European size, according to this formula:

SIZE = 1.5 X (FOOT LENGTH IN CM + 1.5)

That means, if your foot length is 28.5cm, you should add 1.5, to give you 30. Then multiply 30 by 1.5, to give you a European Shoe Size of 45 (assuming you don't have a very wide foot, in which case you might want to consider going up one size to 46).

For a more detailed breakdown, see our size guide page. Or email us (hello@atheistberlin.com) with any sizing questions you might have.
